Meet the Team

Communicycle Clarkston will be opening in no time at all, and we need your help to get it running! Here are some ways to get involved.

Become A Volunteer
You don't have to know how to repair bicycles to volunteer at the co-op. You can greet folks, organize supplies and tools, tidy up the shop, run errands… And as you hang with us, you will probably learn a good bit about bike repair and maintenance.

Become A Shop Manager
Not all that different from being a shop volunteer, except we will give you keys to the place. Shop managers are scheduled on a rotating basis (or as available). A manager unlocks the shop, makes sure everything runs smoothly (aka with a minimum amount of chaos), leads the charge of clean-up at the end of the night, and locks up. Being a shop manager is an easy and fun way to meet a lot of folks from the community and is a vital role in the program's operation.

Help With Events
In addition to weekly shop hours, Communicycle Clarkston will occasionally host extra work days, mobile shop events, and volunteer appreciation nights. You can help coordinate these special events by selecting dates, spreading the word, and taking care of logistics.

Take On Some Admin
Do you enjoy accounting? Have a gift for making connections in the community? Like to shop for supplies? Enjoy keeping in touch with people? Have a knack for social media? Communicycle Clarkston needs your help too.
