August 11, 2011 Work begins in Clarkston to outfit our second co-op location.

May 23, 2010 Pearl Lane Mobile Shop - a great success. We fixed about 3 dozen bikes and made new friends in the process. Thanks to our excellent volunteers for giving their afternoon.
May 1, 2010 Our tools have been replaced and the shop is open again. Come by on Tuesday nights, 6-8 pm, to work on your bike.
March 1, 2010 The Communicycle shop was broken into over the weekend, and most of our tools were stolen. The shop will be closed for the next several weeks as we work on figuring out how to replace the mssing tools.
January 25, 2010 The Communicycle shop is now up and running in our new location on Chamblee Tucker Rd.
December 9, 2009 The Communicycle shop is moving! Our new location will be at 2605 Chamblee Tucker Rd., Chamblee, GA 30341. The shop will be closed temporarily in December and January as we move and set up our new space.
June 14, 2009 Silver Comet Trail ride - a big success! Thanks to Kyung, who organized this ride specifically for the youth who have been involved at the shop and the volunteers who have helped them to build or repair thier bikes. Of the 11 bikes out on the trail, this afternoon, 5 were built at the shop and most of the others tuned up at Communicycle or at a Mobile Shop event!
June 9, 2009 Communicycle featured on Refugee Arts blog. Ian North of Refugee Arts has been bringing several of his organization's youth to the Communicycle shop to participate in the Earn-A-Bike program. Click here to check out his Communicycle post.
May 2, 2009 Successful Mobile Shop day at the Woodgate Apartment Complex in Chamblee! In spite of the isolated but heavy rains, we were able to service about 24 bicycles and had a great time playing games and chalking up the asphalt with about 18 kids who spent the day with us.
February 9, 2009 Plan to join us for our first Mobile Shop day on February 28. From 12-6pm, we are going to be at the Pearl Lane Apartment Complex on Shallowford Road in Chamblee to perform basic tune-ups and bike repairs, hang out with neighborhood kids, and down some lemonade and cookies. We need as much help as possible, and not just from bike mechanics. Send us an email if you might be interested in spending a part of the day with us.
May 17, 2008 Our first Communicycle 'Spokes' Meeting is scheduled for JUNE 1 at 7:00 p.m. We will talk about the vision for Communicycle, and will have a large brainstorming section on how to make the vision a reality. We will also have plenty of brownies on hand. Please contact us if you are interested in coming.
May 17, 2008 Thanks to everyone who came out for the intro clinic and group ride for mountain biking at Yellow River Park. Special thanks to our teacher and leader, Danny Presten, who did an excellent job of making the clinic so clear and so much fun. We had 18 people out, several of whom were first-time Communicycle riders. If you didn't make it, you really missed out!

February 29, 2008 An amazing thing happened the over the past 24 hours. We got connected to a fellow in Conyers who said he had some bikes that he wanted to donate to our community program. We hopped in our borrowed truck (an awesome story by itself) and wound our way through the back roads of the east suburbs to pick up our first donation. This guy mostly had kid's and teen bikes, with a few adult-size bicyclesin the mix. In all, we put TWENTY FIVE BIKES in the back of the truck! I must admit that several are in the worst shape imaginable, but our inventory just went from 0 to 25 in our first week. Awesome.
